Rattan Fighting schedule!

9AM Site Opens- list opens for inspections, authorizations, and warm up fights.

We will have rattan authorization time available in the morning from 9AM to 10AM. Please let us know if you plan on authorizing so we can have you on the schedule - please include your Kingdom. This is a perfect opportunity to get a spear authorization.

We have space for pick up fights during the morning and, if there is interest, we will run a variation of a speed tourney from 10AM to 11AM. Fighting does not have to pause for the lunch break, as long as there is a rattan marshal willing to take responsibility for your actions (it cannot be you, if you are fighting).

We are looking for marshals and MITs to help all day long with authorizations, tournament procedure, and melee marshaling. This is a great event to get signatures.

If you are fighting in just the melees, please be in armor and ready to go at 11 AM

Field Battle (3-5) - No Rez. Win conditions: last fighter alive with your team colors.

Small Team Melee - No Rez. Increasing Teams: Teams of 3 to start, then 6, then 12….

Bridge Battle (3) - Rez. Timed. Win conditions: control the glory zone at the center of the bridge. Mixed teams in zone at time call will fight to last fighter alive.

Control Zone (3) - Rez. Timed. Win conditions: control the radius around 2 of 3 marked points. Mixed teams in 9’ radius at time call will fight to last fighter alive.

As a reminder, we are fighting inside on a shared field space (hockey rink) with rapier. There is no combat archery or seige available.

Pick up field available after end of Melee until field closes.

4:30pm: Field Closes- any and all help to clean up will be appreciated.

As always, schedule and format of melees is subject to the whim of the Crown, Army command staff, and Marshals in Charge. We will adjust things as needed so that people keep having fun and skills get practiced.
